Where it fits. Thermoplastic elastomer is a quiet, non-marking tread built for finished floors. It combines the low rolling resistance of a hard wheel with a cushioned ride that absorbs floor seams and thresholds, which reduces both noise and the push force an operator has to apply. This swivel model rotates a full 360 degrees and is normally specified two per cart with two rigid casters at the opposite end, or four per cart where the equipment has to move sideways in tight aisles.
Construction. The body is molded from glass filled nylon and will not rust or corrode. It uses a grip ring stem attachment. This model is supplied with a top brake. A steel single precision bearing rides on an 8mm axle for smooth, low-effort rolling.
Load and duty. The 265 lb rating is per caster. Standard practice is to size a four-caster set assuming three casters carry the load, so this model supports roughly a 750 lb cart with margin for shock loading and uneven floors. Continuous operating range is -4°F to 122°F.
About the line. The Kinexus caster series pairs a glass filled nylon body with quiet, non-marking TPE wheels, integrated nylon thread guards, and precision wheel bearings. Treads are offered from a soft 65A through a firmer 85A, and the series is available in 75mm, 100mm, and 125mm sizes with a range of fitting and brake configurations.
