Where it fits. Silicone tread is specified for high-temperature service where a non-marking wheel is required. It withstands sustained heat and steam without hardening or transferring color to the floor.
Construction. The tread is molded to an aluminum core. Hub width is 48mm. A 3/8″ stainless steel top hat bushing fits a 3/8″ axle.
Load and duty. The 200 lb rating is per wheel. Standard practice is to size a four-wheel set assuming three wheels carry the load, so this wheel supports roughly a 600 lb cart with margin for shock loading and uneven floors. Continuous operating range is -20°F to 475°F.
