Where it fits. Solid rubber gives a cushioned, quiet ride without the maintenance of a pneumatic tire. It absorbs shock and rolls over rough surfaces and debris, making it a common choice for uneven floors, loading docks, and outdoor transitions.
Construction. The tread is molded to a semi-pneumatic core. Hub width is 2″. Thread guards are fitted to keep string, film, and debris out of the bore. A 1/2″ steel ball bearing fits a 1/2″ axle.
Load and duty. The 350 lb rating is per wheel. Standard practice is to size a four-wheel set assuming three wheels carry the load, so this wheel supports roughly a 1,050 lb cart with margin for shock loading and uneven floors. Continuous operating range is -30°F to 140°F.
